The canvas are already stretched on solid wooden frameworks: the edges of the stretcher bars are finished off and covered with canvas – the painting is ready to hang. On customer’s request,decoration painting we can also send just the canvas without stretcher bars: in this case the canvas will be rolled up and packed in a cardboard tube. Without stretcher bars The unstretched painting won’t be ready to hang, the canvas will be rolled up and sent to you in a cardboard tube. Around the chosen motive we always leave a perimeter of coloured canvas (corresponding with the paintings’ colours) – it facilitates the placement of the canvas on the wooden subframe. The outer edges of the painting can be covered with canvas, finished off and ready to hang even without the external frame Standard stretcher bars (1,7 cm) / 3D gallery stretcher bars (3 cm) The stretcher bars are the wooden supports, on which the canvas is mounted. Two kinds of wooden stretcher bars are offered in our shop: the standard stretcher bars (1,7 cm deep) and the gallery stretcher bars (3 cm deep). They only differ in size: both products are solid and durable and are made of high quality pine wood. The painting or digital print mounted on the stretcher bars is ready to hang - the external frame is not necessary. We recommend the purchase of metal toothhangers which make the placement of the painting on the wall much easier. For multi-panel compositions, the purchase of one hook for each part is recommended. If the width of an element exceeds 80 cm, it is better to use at least two hooks for this panel. The toothhangers are being sent with the ordered painting, in the same parcel, in a white envelope. You have to assemble them on your own, by hammering them gently into the wooden subframeOil painting or Acryl painting are most common of art painting.
